Can sod fix any bare patch?

We check sunlight, drainage, grade, soil, and watering access first. Sod will not correct deep shade or standing water on its own.

Is grading or drainage work included?

Your quote explains the preparation included. Major grading, drainage correction, irrigation, or imported soil are separate unless specifically listed.
